Sebastian’s Community Night Out

The Sebastian Police Department will be hosting its Annual Community Night Out event on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, from 5:30 P.M. through approximately 7:30 P.M., at Riverview Park in the City of Sebastian.

This event is designed to strengthen and enhance the relationship between law enforcement, emergency services, local businesses and the community through communication and partnerships in a continuing effort to promote crime prevention, personal safety and welfare.

Sebastian Police Department will be displaying much of its law enforcement equipment and have representative on hand from every department to answer questions.

A variety of partner agencies, to include local, county, state, federal law enforcement and fire / Rescue agencies, will be participating with us in displaying a wide array of equipment for adults and children to see and handle

Demonstrations are being scheduled, to include police K-9s, as well as, interactive events for children throughout the evening

Examples of participating local businesses you will see include; Alarm companies, fitness, building & hardware, insurance & financial institutions, civic organizations, community resources and many more.

Come out with your neighbors and meet new neighbors, enjoy the evening under the shade of the oak trees and the breeze of the Indian River at Riverview Park, Wednesday October 1, from 5:30 PM through approximately 7:30 PM
