The Detective Division is supervised by Detective Sergeant Bill Grimmich.  Sgt. Grimmich has been with the Sebastian Police Department Since April 1989 and has worked in a supervisory capacity for Uniform Patrol, Special Ops and Field Training, before coming to the Investigations Division.  Sgt Grimmich was also assigned to the Indian River County Narcotics Unit, better known as the Multi-Agency Criminal Enforcement Unit (M.A.C.E.).  The Investigations Division is staffed by Detective R. Snell, Detective R. Carlson, and Detective T. Robinson.  The division is responsible for all investigative needs, ranging from crimes against property to crimes against persons.  This division is also responsible for tracking the City's sexual offenders, and intelligence gathering.
