Uniformed officers, in marked police cars, under the direction of the Patrol Division Captain are the most visible components of the Department.

Road Patrol Sergeants and Patrol Officers are responsible for patroling the City, responding to calls for service, enforcing traffic laws, attending to traffic accidents and many other duties that serve and protect the community.
