The traffic unit has the responsibility to aggressively and energetically enforce the traffic laws of the State of Florida, as well as any criminal violations found subsequent to the traffic stop.  These efforts are to help ensure the safety of the motoring public within our jurisdiction and to stem the tide of criminal activity within or passing through the city limits of Sebastian.  Our "Traveling Criminal Apprehension Program" directs its efforts toward enforcing registration violations, driver's license violations, firearms violations, and the transportation of controlled substances, DUI violations and the apprehension of wanted fugitives.
