The Pelican Island Audubon Society wants to help beautify your landscape while enhancing habitat for native wildlife. Local residents are eligible to purchase discounted native plants or register to receive FREE Live Oak trees .  
Their mission: Collaborate with everyone including our youth by planting 100,000 native trees to transform our land, to save our Lagoon and waters, improve community health, and reduce the impacts of climate change.

A Residential Lawn Certification Initiative

The Natural Resources Board is proud to introduce Keep Indian River Beautiful's Lagoon Friendly Lawns Program to the City of Sebastian. 

Protecting the Indian River Lagoon starts right in your backyard. You can begin today by reducing your individual nutrient runoff, providing habitat for native species and reducing pesticide use. Take the "Homeowner Audit" and certify your lawn today!
